SYNOPSIS
vcl [-c vcl-command] [-q] [-v]
DESCRIPTION
vcl
invokes VCL, a comprehensive emulation of Digital Equipment Corporation's DCL
shell.
OPTIONS
- -q
-
Inhibits VCL's startup message.
- -c vcl-command
-
Executes
vcl-command,
then exits.
- -v
-
Equivalent to running the SET VERIFY command at startup. SET VERIFY instructs
VCL to echo each command to the terminal before executing it.
